Rainy season, honestly

Every guidebook says avoid June to October. We run every week of it, and some of our best days are in it.

What actually changes

Mornings are mostly dry. Rain often comes in the afternoon, hard, for an hour. We plan the day around it.

The elephants do not mind, and neither do most guests. The waterfall closes only after heavy storms; then we swap it for the camp's river walk.
