Before you book a day.
Updated 22 October 2026. TrekTripTour runs small-group day trips from Chiang Mai with pickup at your place. These terms apply to every booking made on this site or through our office. They are written in plain language.

What you book
A booking is for named guests on one trip on one date, at the price shown at checkout in Thai baht. Prices are per guest and include what the trip page lists under “What you get”; anything under “Not included” is paid on the day. Other currencies on the site are shown for orientation only; you pay in Thai baht.
Paying
You book a day and choose how to pay. Cash: you pay the guide in cash on the day; no seat is held until we confirm, within 12 hours. PromptPay or bank transfer: when seats are free, the booking is confirmed at once and the QR code (or our bank details) shows right after you book; pay within 24 hours. Free cancellation until 24 hours before pickup; after that the day is charged in full.
Pickup
Pickup at your place is free inside the trip’s pickup zones. Outside them it costs 100 THB per booking up to 10 km from Tha Phae Gate and 200 THB up to 20 km; further out we meet you at the meeting point.
Changing or cancelling
You may cancel free of charge until 24 hours before your pickup time, from the link in your confirmation e-mail or through the office. A card payment goes back to the same card; a payment made to the office by PromptPay, bank transfer or cash is refunded by the office by PromptPay, bank transfer or cash, as agreed with you. Refunds take 1–2 weeks. Inside 24 hours there is no refund. A date or group-size change is possible until the same deadline, subject to seats; a higher price is paid as the difference. Changes that lower the price are not refunded.
Minimum group
Each trip runs from a minimum number of guests, shown on its page. If the group has not reached that number at the decision time, 18:00 Bangkok time the day before (earlier for early pickups: 14 hours before pickup), we cancel the day and refund you in full, card payments automatically and office payments by PromptPay, bank transfer or cash as agreed with you (refunds take 1–2 weeks); you can also choose to move to another date.
On the day
Pickup times are approximate and depend on traffic and the order of hotels; please be ready in your lobby at the time in your ticket. We may change the route, the order of stops or an activity for weather, safety or road conditions, and we tell you as early as we can. If we cancel a trip for such reasons you get a full refund or another date. Guests arrive at their own risk for activities they choose to join and must follow the guide’s safety instructions.

We need each guest’s name, and for insurance the details the checkout asks for; how they are kept is described in our privacy notice.
