What to wear and bring

Two days, two different kits. Here is what we tell every guest the evening before.

The elephant day

• Swimwear and a towel.

• Sandals that grip. The river bed and the waterfall rock are uneven.

• Sunscreen and insect repellent.

• Your own medication.

The camp lends you a keeper outfit. Wear clothes you can soak underneath, and keep a dry set of clothes in the van. That is the one thing most people forget, and the drive home is an hour.

The Doi Suthep morning

• Clothes that cover shoulders and knees.

• Shoes for steps and uneven ground.

• A light layer for the early start.

Water is included on both days. Leave valuables where you stay; you will not need much more than a phone and some cash.
