Bath time in the river
The activities end in the river. You wade into the shallow brown water with the keepers and help wash the elephants, so expect to get properly wet. Afterwards we walk back up to the camp, where a buffet lunch is ready for the group before we move on.
The rest of the day
We pick you up where you stay at 08:30 and drive about an hour north to an elephant camp in Mae Taeng. From about 10:00 you register, change into a keeper outfit and join a short workshop with an elephant guide. Then you prepare food, feed, walk with and bathe the elephants, always with the keepers beside you. After a buffet lunch at the camp we drive about 40 minutes to Bua Tong, the Sticky Waterfall, for around two hours. You are back where you stay around 16:00.
